Practical help.
Clear boundaries.

01 / EXISTING INSTALLATION

Check suitability first

One existing supported customer-owned Home Assistant installation, up to three compatible existing devices and two simple non-critical automations. A new hub or fresh installation is separate.

02 / SIMPLE ROUTINES

Keep the brief useful

Agree a convenience routine such as a lamp schedule or a non-critical reminder. Locks, alarms, access control, heating safety functions, care/medical devices and safety-critical uses are excluded.

03 / TEST BEFORE ACCEPTING

Prove the proposed setup

A successful rehearsal with suitable non-critical test hardware is required before customer work is accepted. Confirm device compatibility and the exact supported routine before any booking or payment.

04 / MANUAL CONTROL

Keep an override

Check the agreed manual override, an unavailable device and restart behaviour. You keep control of the installation and approve the reversible change plan.

05 / BACKUP & RECOVERY

Agree a way back

Back up the agreed configuration and check its recovery route within scope. Customer accounts and recovery materials remain under your control; no ongoing unattended access is included.

06 / HANDOVER

Know how the routine works

A walkthrough of the agreed routine and how to disable it. Hardware, electrical fitting, subscriptions, travel, new integrations, incident response and ongoing support are separate.

A small setup.
Tested before acceptance.

From £295 for an existing supported Home Assistant installation, up to three compatible devices and two simple non-critical routines. Subject to compatibility checks and a successful test rehearsal. Hardware and installation are separate.

Work and handover

The agreed work is completed and checked with you, with a practical handover and any next steps made clear.

Clear about the details.

Is this ready for any smart-home system?

No. It is conditional on an existing supported Home Assistant installation, compatible devices and a successful test rehearsal. David confirms suitability and availability before accepting work.

Does the price include hardware or electrical installation?

No. Hardware, hub installation, electrical fitting, subscriptions, travel and new integrations are separate. You provide compatible working equipment.

Can you automate locks, alarms, heating or care equipment?

These are excluded from this starter. It covers simple non-critical convenience routines, with manual override and an agreed recovery route.

Will it guarantee savings or always work?

No energy-saving, security or uptime outcome is guaranteed. Device availability, internet and provider changes can affect routines. Ongoing support would need a separate agreement.
