Less paper
chasing.
More time.

A place for your paperwork. A simpler way to find it.

Invoices in one folder, scans in another, and the document you need somewhere else entirely? We'll help you set up an organised, searchable workspace and a scanning routine you can actually use.

For independent businesses, small offices and busy owners.

From scattered paperwork
to a useful system.

We agree a small, manageable starting point: one document workspace, one supported scanner or import route, and a clear way to organise new documents.

01 / MAKE A PLAN

Start with how you work

Talk through the documents you need to find, who uses them and how they arrive. We'll agree the scope and the right tools before setting anything up.

02 / A PLACE FOR THINGS

Organise your workspace

Set up a practical structure of folders, tags or document types, so the same kinds of paperwork are handled consistently.

03 / SCAN OR IMPORT

Give new documents a route in

Configure one agreed, supported scanner or digital import route. We check equipment compatibility first; a new scanner isn't included in the setup fee.

04 / SEARCH

Find the important details

Configure search and, where supported, text recognition for scanned documents. We test a sample together and explain where manual checking is still needed.

05 / PERMISSIONS & BACKUPS

Agree who can access what

Set up the agreed access and backup approach, and check a sample restore within scope. Storage capacity, retention and any provider costs are confirmed in your quote.

06 / KEEP IT SIMPLE

Learn the routine

A guided handover and simple notes covering scanning, filing, finding, exporting and the backup routine, so you're comfortable using the system.

Scan it. Check it.
Find it again.

The aim is a repeatable process, not just a pile of PDFs. We help connect the right equipment or import route and agree what happens after each document arrives.

The starter price covers setup and training. Scanning an existing paper archive is a separate job.

  • Check scanner or import compatibility before quoting
  • Agree useful naming, tags or document types
  • Test sample scans for readability and search
  • Show you how to review and correct documents
  • Keep you in control of originals and deletions

For boxes of paperwork, we first discuss volume, condition, preparation and indexing. Any scanning or migration work is estimated separately from an agreed sample. No original documents are destroyed as part of the starter setup.

A little support.
When you need it.

Optional support is £39/month for your agreed document workspace. Setup can be bought on its own. Support starts only if you choose it after handover.

01 / GUIDANCE

A person to ask

Help with the agreed scanning and filing routine, and everyday questions about the setup we've provided.

02 / SMALL ADJUSTMENTS

Keep things practical

Up to 20 minutes a month for routine troubleshooting or small changes to the existing configuration. Unused time doesn't roll over.

03 / CLEAR BOUNDARIES

Support without surprises

Help during normal working hours. Larger repairs, new features, additional users or major migrations are quoted separately before work begins.

Support runs monthly with 30 days' written notice to cancel. It is not a 24-hour response service or an included storage subscription. Software, hosting, storage and equipment costs remain separate.

Show us the problem.
We'll agree a plan.

01

A conversation

Tell David what you need to find, how much paperwork you have and which scanner or software you already use.

02

A written quote

We confirm the scope, final price, access and any extra costs. Starter setups begin at £295, paid 50% upfront and 50% at handover.

03

Set up and check

We configure the agreed workspace and scan or import route, then test representative samples with you.

04

Handover

You get guidance and operating notes. Choose optional support or look after the workspace yourself.

Clear about the details.

What does “setup from £295” mean?

£295 is the starting price for a small, agreed starter setup: one document workspace, one supported scanner or import route, basic organisation and a guided handover. Document volume, existing systems, access requirements and extra configuration can increase the price. You receive the final written quote before committing.

Is the £39/month support compulsory?

No. You can buy setup on its own. Optional support costs £39/month for the agreed workspace and starts only if you choose it after handover. Without support, you manage day-to-day operation; later help can be quoted separately.

What would the first year cost?

At the £295 starting setup price, adding twelve months of optional £39 support totals £763. This is an illustration, not a fixed quote: your final setup price and any software, storage, hosting, equipment or scanning costs are agreed separately. There is no twelve-month support commitment.

Will you scan boxes of paperwork for me?

We can discuss a separately quoted scanning or migration project. The starter offer covers setup and training, not bulk page scanning. Before quoting, we agree document volume, condition, preparation, indexing and the handling of originals using a representative sample.

Do I need a new scanner or a software subscription?

Not always. We check what you already have first. The equipment must support the agreed workflow, and some software or storage options have their own fees. Those costs are explained before work begins; equipment and subscriptions are not included in the setup or support price.

Can you use my confidential documents?

We agree the minimum access needed, who may see documents, where they will be stored and any external processing before connecting your files. We start with sample material where practical. Please don't attach sensitive documents or account passwords to your initial enquiry.

Will everything become searchable automatically?

Search depends on the software, format and scan quality. Text recognition can make mistakes, especially with handwriting or poor originals. We test samples and show you how to check and correct them; accuracy and complete automatic filing are not guaranteed.

Will you delete duplicates or destroy originals?

No automatic deletion or paper destruction is included in the starter setup. Any later clean-up or retention process needs a separate, explicit agreement and appropriate checks. You remain in control of what is kept.

What would you
like to find faster?

Tell David how your documents arrive, roughly how much you have and what equipment or software you use. We'll talk through a practical starting point and confirm your setup quote.

This is an enquiry, not a purchase. No document upload is needed to start the conversation.
