Your place. Your work.
A different perspective.

Tell us where the images will be used. We'll discuss the approach that fits your subject and budget; these are possible briefs, not claims of completed client projects.

01 / PROPERTY & PLACES

Put a place in context

Exterior and surroundings imagery for properties, holiday lets or business premises. Aerial views can help show the setting where a flight is suitable.

02 / YOUR BUSINESS

Give your website its own images

Photographs of your premises, work and business details, planned for website pages, social profiles or other agreed marketing use.

03 / A WIDER VIEW

See the bigger picture

Discuss an aerial overview or repeat photographs of an agreed location. Technical surveys, measurements and inspection reports are outside the starting offer.

A clear brief.
A useful set of images.

The starting offer is for a small local photography shoot with a defined subject and location. We agree exactly what's included before you commit.

The final price depends on location, time, access, editing and the deliverables you need.

  • A planning conversation and agreed shot list
  • Location and access checks before confirmation
  • An agreed period on site, subject to suitable conditions
  • A selection of edited photographs
  • Digital delivery and agreed image usage

Your quote specifies image count, turnaround, travel and any additional costs. Video filming, reels, complex editing, additional locations, specialist equipment and technical survey work need a separate quote.

The right approach
for the location.

A drone isn't always the right tool. We review the site, intended images and conditions before confirming whether aerial photography is practical.

01 / LOCATION

Check before confirming

We discuss access, the surrounding area and any relevant flight or land permissions. Operator requirements and insurance cover are checked before a drone job is confirmed.

02 / CONDITIONS

Leave room for the weather

Wind, rain, visibility or restrictions may mean a flight can't go ahead. Rescheduling and any alternative ground-based approach are agreed before booking.

03 / PEOPLE & PRIVACY

Keep the brief considered

We agree the subject and intended use, and discuss permissions for people, property and any sensitive areas. Share a general brief first; no private documents are needed.

A straightforward shoot.
With the details agreed.

01

Tell us the idea

Share the subject, general location, intended image use and any date you have in mind.

02

Plan and quote

We review feasibility and confirm the scope, total price, deliverables, permissions and booking terms in writing.

03

Capture the images

The shoot follows the agreed plan, with any drone flight subject to suitable conditions and final checks.

04

Edit and deliver

We select and edit the agreed images and deliver them digitally within the schedule in your quote.

Good to know.

What does “from £175 per shoot” mean?

£175 is the starting price for a small, defined local photography shoot, including planning, the agreed time on site, an edited image selection and digital delivery. Your written quote confirms the location, image count, usage, turnaround and any extra costs before booking.

Is drone photography included in every shoot?

No. Aerial imagery is included only when it is agreed in your quote and the site, permissions, insurance and flight conditions are suitable. We can't promise a flight at every location. Where appropriate, we can discuss ground-based photography instead.

Can you create video or social media reels?

We can discuss a separate video or media brief. Filming, audio, editing, music licensing and extra formats can change the cost. They aren't automatically included in the £175 starting photography offer.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable?

We agree weather and rescheduling arrangements before booking. A drone flight may be postponed or cancelled if conditions or restrictions make it unsuitable. We'll discuss any alternative approach rather than promise a flight regardless of conditions.

Can I use the images on my website and social media?

Tell us your intended uses when you enquire. We confirm your image licence in writing, including any agreed website, social media or other marketing use. Exclusivity, resale, third-party use and additional rights need a specific agreement.

Do you offer roof surveys or technical inspections?

The starting offer is photography and business media, not a structural survey, safety assessment or professional inspection report. We can discuss an imagery-only brief, but specialist interpretation, measurements or certification are outside this offer.

Where do you work?

DaveBrain is based in Bristol. Tell David the location and access requirements so we can confirm feasibility and any travel costs. Longer journeys and additional locations are quoted separately.

How do I book?

Start with an enquiry. David confirms availability, feasibility, price, payment arrangements and booking terms before you commit. Please flag any deadline early; dates and delivery times are agreed for each shoot.

What would you
like to show?

Tell David about the subject, location and where you want to use the images. We'll discuss the options and provide a clear quote, with local shoots starting from £175.

This is an enquiry, not a booking or purchase. Scope, costs and booking terms are agreed before work begins.
